English as a Second Language and more

Hello!

My native language is English, as I am from California, USA, but I have a passion for all languages! Since I am someone who enjoys learning languages myself, I feel that I have a firsthand understanding of the challenges and triumphs that come with learning a new tongue. Currently, I am teaching English as a second language to kindergarten students in South Korea.

My goal is for all students to not only improve language skills, but to have fun along the way! I truly believe that learning should be intrinsic, so in my role as a teacher/tutor, I always try to make the subject matter interesting to the individual student.

Physics and more

I have a BS in physics with a minor in mathematics. I have also done undergraduate level research in astronomy. I have tutored college physics students for 3 years. What I want to see when I tutor is the moment a concept finally clicks and the student really understands it.
